A Chillicothe Sophomore has been selected to participate in the 2019 Missouri Agribusiness Academy. Seth Hansen is a member of the Chillicothe FFA and Livingston County 4H programs. He will participate with the 2019 Missouri Agribusiness Academy class, which will tour agribusinesses, explore educational opportunities and meet with agricultural leaders in the Springfield area from June 3rd to the 7th. The students will end their week with a graduation ceremony at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.

The Missouri Department of Agriculture says Agriculture has a tremendous impact on our nation’s economy, and Missouri is at the heart of this industry. It is important that young people carry on the tradition and heritage of those who have made this state the agricultural leader it is today and develop the skills necessary to continue that legacy in the future.
