Chillicothe Police Had A Busy Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department Report for the weekend includes several investigations, fire, and an arrest.

Friday

11:45 am., Officers responded to the 200 block of McCormick for a burglary of a storage shed.

5:55 pm, Officers responded to Polk and Broadway for suspicious activity. Someone fell through a small window cutting his arm. He was transported to the hospital by a family member.

10:05 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of Cherry Street for a well-being check. The subject was taken to the Hedrick Medical Center for a medical evaluation.

Saturday

8:16 am Officers took a report of stealing. Officers are continuing the investigation in this case.

Sunday

11:45 am, Officer recovered property in the 600 block of Washington Street.  The property was returned to the owner.

2:05 pm, Officers arrested Justin Lycan in the 00 in the 600 block of Walnut Street on a Macon County, Missouri warrant for alleged failure to appear on a charge of alleged operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner.  Lycan was unable to post the required bond and was turned over to the Macon County Sheriff’s Department.

5:00 pm, Officer responded to an outdoor fire in the 400 block of Wilson.  Officer advised resident of burn ban and fire was extinguished.

9:00 pm, an officer responded to a report of a suspicious person outside a business in the 500 block of South Washington Street.  A person was located and found to not be suspicious.

11:30 pm, Officers responded to the 10 block of Second Street to a report of property damage to a motor vehicle.  A vehicle was found to be damaged by fire.  Investigation continues.
