The Chillicothe Fire and Police Departments are celebrating Telecommunications week, an opportunity to recognize the dispatch staff in Chillicothe and Livingston County. Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples says they are an important part of their team.
Maples says the job of a dispatcher is often overlooked.
Chief Maples says through this week they will be doing something special for the dispatchers on all of the shifts.
