8 run 3rd inning Costs Hornets

The Chillicothe Hornets baseball team gave up eight runs in the third inning in an 11-3 home baseball loss to Savannah.
With the score tied at two-all, Savannah benefited from back to back singles, a hit by a pitch, a walk, double, two more walks,  an error and a three run home run over left field.
Chillicothe scored two in the first, and one in the sixth off of five hits. Savannah had 11 runs off eight hits and no errors.
For the Hornets, Brock Ward had a double, Westley Brandsgaard had two singles, Dawson Wheeler and Bradley Riley each had one single.
Matt Smith and Dawson Wheeler shared the pitching mound, combining to allow 11 runs, seven earned, off eight hits with two strike outs and 12 walks.
