Lady Hornets Soccer Finish 2nd in MEC

The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Soccer Team continue on a hot streak with a 1-0 win at Maryville Friday night.
Chillicothe freshman Lucy Reeter scores the game winning goal off an assist from Sarah Graves on a nice left footed shot just past the keeper.
Coach Shannon Grable state the defense remained solid with its record 14th shutout on the season. The win brings the Lady Hornets Soccer record to 15-4 (5-2 MEC for 2nd place).
In the JV match the Hornets lost 3-0. The game finishes the JV season at 9-2-1.
Next game is in the district semi final vs Moberly on Tuesday at 5:45 pm. Chillicothe will host the district tournament.
