An accident in Caldwell County left two injured Tuesday evening. State Troopers report the accident happened on westbound US 36, just west of Hamilton, at about 6:10 pm. A car driven by 18-year-old Keagan O’Riley of Clearmont was westbound, when a northbound vehicle on Route P, driven by 83-year-old Robert Jewell, pulled into the path of the O’Riley vehicle and was struck on the passenger side.
The drivers were not injured in the accident. O’Riley’s passengers 46-year-old Deandra and 50-year-old Anthony O’Riley were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor and moderate injuries.
