Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several incidents over the weekend.

Saturday
1:00 am, Officers were responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Locust Street.  Someone had damaged a decorative light pole and two large flower pots.   That person was arrested, processed and released.

8:10 am, Officers investigated a dog complaint in the 1900 block of Webster Street.  The owner was notified of the complaint and is trying to remedy the situation.

10:10 am, officers recovered an abandoned bicycle in the 900 block of Dale Drive.  The bike can be claimed at the police department.

3:45 pm, Officers provided traffic control on Fair Street by the Vo-Tech while a large tree limb was removed from the roadway.

6:55 pm, Officers responded to a report of kids in the roadway near Jackson and Highland, refusing to move for vehicular traffic.

7:45 pm, A woman reported her vehicle had been taken from her driveway by someone she knew.  The vehicle is a white 2004 Pontiac Grand Am 4-door with no license plates.  The victim said she believed the person was in the Kansas City area.

Sunday
9:35 am, Officer took a report of a missing juvenile from the 500 block of West Mohawk.  It was determined that the juvenile had left during the night.  She was later located in Illinois.

11:35 am, Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Washington and Green Streets.  A vehicle driven by Ashley Stumph was making a left turn onto Washington Street and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Calinda Corf.  Stumph was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

1:25 pm, Officer arrested a person at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street following a report of Stealing.

3:45 pm, Officers responded to 200 block of Virginia Avenue about a possible suicidal subject threatening residents with a firearm. The person was found to be in possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia.  They were transferred to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment and later taken to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

5:55 pm, A parent came to the police department to report her son had run away the night before.  The child returned home as she was making the report.

10:25 pm, Officers responded to the 2600 block of North Fair for two people arguing. Upon arrival, the Officers determined one person had pushed another person. The suspect left the scene and the victim did not want to pursue charges.
