Flooding and closed roads resulted in the opening of the Livingston County Emergency Operations Center. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says local authorities are prepared to assist those that are stranded here.

Emergency Management Assistant Director Derick Allen says they are working with the area counties for covering both fire and ambulance calls and Lifeflight Eagle is also available if they are needed.
