Chillicothe Police Report Includes One Arrest

The Chillicothe Police Department was busy over the weekend, with a couple of accidents and one arrest.

3:51 am, Officers escorted an oversize load of heavy equipment from the south junction to the Canadian Pacific Depot on Third Street.

1:31 pm, Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Ryan Lane and Washington Street. No-one was injured and minor damage was reported.

6:30 pm, Officers cited a resident in the 1300 block of Elm Street for illegally burning trash and leaving the fire unattended.

8:34 PM, Officers responded to a report of someone driving through their yard in the 200 block of Jackson Street.

Saturday:
12:48 am a tractor-trailer was stuck in the ditch on Curtis Street east of Washington Street. The driver was attempting to turn around and reroute due to highway closures.

7:19 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen ladder from the 200 block of Second Street.

11:04 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of property damage to a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Webster Street. The investigation continues.

7:57 pm, A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of JFK Ave led to an arrest on an out of state warrant.  Officers arrested Danny L. Welch on the warrant from the state of Illinois for alleged failure to appear on a charge of Larceny. Welch was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending extradition.
