An Odessa man had serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Caldwell County Saturday evening. Sixty-nine-year-old David Bannister was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of Serious injuries following the accident at about 6:50 pm on Missouri Highway 116 at Brangus Road. According to the Highway Patrol, Bannister was eastbound and because of dirt and debris in the air, he did not see a semi stopped at the intersection and ran into the rear of the semi. Three people in the semi cab were not injured in the accident.
