3 Weekend Injury Accidents

The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated several weekend accidents in the KCHI listening area.
Three Cowgill residents were injured, two seriously, in Caldwell County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Missouri 116 just East of Cowgill.
A Pick UP driven by 25 year old Michael Clark of Cowgill was on Missouri 116 when a vehicle drive by 18 year old Justin Blakely of Cowgill allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at Route B and 116.
Suffering serious injuries were Blakley along with his passenger, 18 year old Riley Coon who was ejected from the vehicle. Neither were wearing a seat belt. Both were taken by Lifeflight Helicopter to Truman Medical Center.
Sustaining minor injuries was the other driver, Clark. He refused medical treatment at the scene.

A Ludlow man was injured in a one vehicle accident in Livingston County over the weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states a car driven by 64 year old John Damerell of Ludlow was on Route D, four miles north of Ludlow when the car ran off the road, slid and hit a roadway sign. It caused the car to travel down an embankment, coming to rest on it’s wheels in a creek.
Damerell was taken to Hedrick Medical Center by Chillicothe EMS with Moderate injuries.
The Highway Patrol Report stated he was wearing his seat belt.

A Carrollton man was injured in a one vehicle accident on Highway 65 in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred Sunday Morning at 3:40am on Southbound 65 south of Grouse Avenue in Saline County.
The crash happened with a car driven by 20 year old Jonathan Lambert of Carrollton ran off the left side of the road and hit a utility pole. It caused the car to overturn.
Lambert was taken to a hospital in Marshall with Minor injuries. The report states he was wearing his seat belt.
