Road work will briefly close two streets in Chillicothe today (Friday).
Street Department Superintendent Jeff Gillespie stated Hickory from 3rd to the Railroad Tracks and Paul Street from East Herriman to East Jackson will be closed today due to milling and asphalt grinding for placement of new asphalt.
The roads will be shut down for a short period of time. On Monday, weather permitting, they will be closed again for the asphalt over lay for the project.
