Threats At Hedrick Medical Center Investigated By Police

The Police report for Wednesday includes 88 calls for service.

10:19 am, Officers conducted an investigation at a business in the 2700 block of North Washington Street.  No information is available at this time.

12:58 pm, Officers received a report of a dog almost jumping a fence in the 1200 block of Broadway in an attempt to reach a pedestrian.  Owner notified and warned of the report.

1:34 pm, Officers received reports of threats made to Hedrick Medical Center and its employees.  The suspect was identified and a warrant was issued  The suspect is in custody in Kansas City with no bond allowed.  That suspect is awaiting extradition by Livingston County authorities.  Security was provided at the hospital.  The investigation continues.

2:44 pm, Officers recovered a bag of suspected narcotics that had been left on a table in Clay Street Park.  It was brought to the PD for disposal.

3:10 pm, Officers developed suspects in a recent burglary and theft.  They made contact with suspects and recovered a substantial amount of property.  The investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to an alarm at a commercial business in the 500 block of Park Lane.  The alarm activated twice for unknown reasons.
