Theft Investigations Are Part Of Chillicothe Police Report

Chillicothe Police responded to 75 calls for service Monday.  The report includes a couple of arrests.

7:49 am, Officers investigated a complaint of a dog running loose in the 200 block of Woodrow.  Owner located and given the warning to comply with licensing and ordinance restrictions.

10:24 am, Officers began an investigation of theft that has been occurring in the 600 block of Business 36, Chillicothe, Missouri for several months.

12:33 pm, Officers responded to a report of someone in the 800 block of West Business 36, attempting to sell items.  Investigation showed items had been stolen from a nearby business.  The person was arrested, processed and released.

3:13 pm, Officer spoke with subject at the PD and determined the subject’s complaint of child abuse had occurred within another jurisdiction information will be submitted to the correct agency.

3:44 pm, Officers responded to reported trespassing and theft from Chilli Bay Water Park.  A wicker table and a wall hanging of a “Shark” were reported stolen from the security fenced area.

4:30 PM, Officers were called to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street in reference to an assault. Officers determined an assault did not take place. The Prosecutor could consider charges for the filing of a false report.

5:01 pm, Officers took a report of Motorcycles and a 4-wheel ATV operated carelessly in a parking lot area in the 500 block of South Washington Street.  Officer were unable to locate.

9:52 pm, Officer picked up an item believed to be drug paraphernalia that had been abandoned inside a business in the 800 block of Business 36 Highway. The item was brought to the PD to be destroyed.
