MoDOT contractors will begin Chip Seal operations on Route E this morning in Mercer and Sullivan Counties.
The work this morning begins on Route E in Sullivan County near Milan and they will work west toward US 65 in Mercer County. Crews plan to work 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, weekdays, and possible working Saturdays as needed.  A flagger and a pilot car will be used to guide motorists through the work zone.   Delays can be expected through the work zone. The contractors expect to complete the project on August 19th.
MoDOT says all work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
