Paint For A Cause – Trenton

Area residents will have the opportunity to be a part of Missouri History when “Paint for a Cause” art project comes to the Missouri Days Festival in Trenton in October.
The state wide project is a 15-panel mural that will be on display in the Truman Building in Jefferson City when Missouri celebrates its 200th birthday in 2021.
Trenton’s organizer Dan Maxey says the project organizers want to get Missouri citizens involved.

He says people of all ages can help paint the panel in Trenton.

Each of the 15 completed panels will then be put together for the final project.
The Trenton panel will be at “The Space” at 1013 Main on October 19-21.
It will have 1,729 squares to paint.
The names of those that helped paint a square on a panel will be recorded for a user-friendly interactive video for future generations.
