The Chip & Seal work in the downtown area should begin next week. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the overlay work on 1st and 2nd streets looked like it might be delayed, but the contractor says they will get the work done.
Chappell says the Chip & Seal work will begin after the Labor Day Weekend, with the overlay work within 30 days.
