The Chillicothe Hornets football home opener is Friday when they host Kirksville in a non-conference game. Kirksville handled Chillicothe for the win last year, with a strong passing game and a good second half.
Hornets Coach Tim Rulo says Kirksville’s Quarterback returns this year, after burning the Hornets for 241 yards last year.
Kirksville lost at home to Macon last week 28-20 in overtime while Chillicothe won at Marshall 20-7.
