The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Tennis team improved to 2-0 with a 6-3 home win over Savannah to improve to 2-0 in conference play.
In singles competition:
Hunter Keithley fell behind 0-5 in singles, battled back to tie it at 7-all before losing 7-9. Macy Cavanah won 8-3
Hannah Zimmerman won 8-0
Delaney May won 8-2
Megan Sisson lost a close match 8-9, losing the tie breaker 6-8
Leah Lourenco lost 4-8
In Doubles matches
Keithley and Zimmerman won 8-5
Cavanah and May won 8-3
Sisson and Lourenco came back from trailing 2-5 to win 8-6.
In Junior Varsity matches
Tayler Epperson and Arianna Brown won 6-2
Cami Carpenter won 6-2
Olivia Anderson won 6-2.
