A Utica man was found hiding in a dryer when deputies came to arrest him. Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says 35-year-old Dustin Lee Ritchie was wanted on a warrant for alleged trespassing, for alleged driving on a levee earlier this year during the flooding, and a Parole Warrant for an original drug offense.
Cox says when they arrived at the home, Ritchie allegedly refused to come out and blocked doors and entryways into the house. He says when they made entry into the house, they found Ritchie hiding inside the clothes dryer.
Cox says Ritchie now faces additional charges of alleged resisting arrest.
