Chillicothe Police Handles 119 Calls Wednesday

Chillicothe Officers responded to 119 calls for service Wednesday.  Some of the calls included:

12:27 am, officers responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Cherry Street.  An intoxicated person was transported to lodging.  No report at this time.

1:30 am, A disturbance was reported at business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  The person was gone when officers arrived.

5:44 am, Officers assisted Emergency Services in the 700 block of Clay Street.

7:21 am, Officers had a vehicle parked in a construction area towed from the 700 block of Cherry Street.

7:38 am, Officer made an arrest in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on a Probation/Parole violation.

8:51 am, Officer assisted someone that was disoriented near Elm and Jackson.  A friend was found to assist the person.

9:48 am, officers took a report of a pistol stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Hillside Drive.

12:59 pm, Officers took a report of two pistols stolen from a home in the 200 block of Herriman Street.

1:16 pm, Officers searched a home in the 200 block of Herriman Street with concent.

6:14 pm, Officers were out in the 300 block of Bridge Street checking suspicious activity.  Nothing suspicious found.

6:59 pm, Officers made a well-being check at business in the 300 block of W, Business 36.  The person was found to be OK.

8:19 pm, An officer stopped vehicle for traffic violation and discovered illegal contraband in the vehicle.  The driver was cited for the traffic violation and the contraband was seized.

Officers also handled court duty and transported prisoners to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
