Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball had an 8-run second inning to help them beat St Pius X at home 12-0 in a five innings game.
The Lady Hornets scored three in the bottom of the first, eight runs in the second and one in the fourth.
Mollie Ellis pitched the four-hit shut out with one strike out and one walk.
At the plate Abby Jones had a home run, Kinlei Boley had a double and Mika Hibner and Brooke Horton each had two singles. Picking up one single each were Sophia Luetticke, Jordan Hibner, Kennedy Corzette, Hope Helton and Mollie Ellis.
