Flooding and Flooded Roads

The floodwaters on the Grand River are receding and flooding is only reported at Brunswick.

At Brunswick, the river is expected to fall below flood stage of 19 feet Wednesday.  The river was at 22.85 feet Monday evening and is expected to be near 21.7 feet this morning and the river will drop to 19 feet Wednesday evening.

Flooded Roads

Three roads in the KCHI listening area remain closed this morning due to flooding.  The Missouri Department of Transportation reports one is closed in Carroll County, and two others in Chariton County.

In Carroll County,

US 65 remains closed south of Carrollton to the Missouri River.

In Chariton County,

Route M remains closed  from the Grand River to Schluter Avenue

Route J remains closed south of Agee Avenue to Namrash Road
