CHS ACT Scores Higher Than State Average

The Chillicothe High School has been putting an emphasis on preparing students to take the ACT Tests and CHS Assistant Principal Dr Jill Watkins says those efforts are paying off.

Dr Watkins says the numbers also look good for the individual areas of testing.

Watkins says the ACT is a measure of how well prepared the student is for the start of their college career.

CHS Students will have an opportunity to take the ACT on October 26th.  This Saturday, they will have an “ACT Crash Course.” This intensive one-day workshop includes a two-hour English session, one-hour Reading session, two-hour Mathematics session, and one-hour Science Reasoning session, each focused on test-taking strategies as well as tips and content review for each section.
