Two Accidents Leave Two Drivers Injured

Two two-vehicle accidents left two drivers injured over the weekend.

Saturday at about 7:00 am near Kidder, an accident on US 36 left a Cameron woman with minor injuries.  At about 7:00 am, Troopers report 35-year-old Franchesca Flemming of Cameron was injured when she was eastbound on US 36 and a vehicle with a trailer, driven by Darren Crabb of Kidder, pulled out of a driveway on onto the highway to go east.  Flemming crested a hill and struck Crabb’s trailer.  Flemming was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment,

Saturday at about 6:40 pm in Caldwell County, 21-year-old Madison Owen of Chillicothe was injured in an accident near Breckenridge.  Troopers report 43-year-old Jason Books of Omaha was westbound and Owen began to slow to make a turn, Books ran into the back of the Owen vehicle, causing both vehicles to end up in the median.  Owen was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment of moderate injuries.
