Chillicothe Police Report Includes a Couple Accidents

Chillicothe Police handled 146 calls for service Tuesday, including a dog bite and an injury accident near the Chillicothe Elementary School.

2:40 am, an officer checked the well-being of a pedestrian at Polk and Monroe.  They were walking to a friend’s house.

8:55 am, Officers performed traffic detail near N. Washington and Snow Street for Electrical service crossing the roadway.

9:42 am, Report of a minor accident in the 700 block of Webster Street.  Vehicle backing from a parking stall and struck vehicle on Webster Street.  No injuries were reported.

10:52 am, The School Resource Officer checked the well-being of someone in the 1300 block of Burnam Road.  All OK.

1:52 pm, School Resource Officer out Dewey School in reference to a disruptive student.  Information to be sent to Juvenile Authorities.

3:21 pm, Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of US 65 and Coach K Rd. One driver was transported by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center, a passenger in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital by a police officer.  Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

5:42 pm, Officers investigating dog bite in the 100 block of Garr Field Road.  Officers were unable to make contact with dog’s owner.

11:18 pm, an officer was requested for assistance near Washington and Park Lane where someone was having anxiety issues and wanting to speak with someone.  That person was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation.
