The Chillicothe Volleyball Season came to an end with a two set loss to district top seed Kirksville. Chillicothe lost in straight sets 10-25 and 16-25.
Individually for the Lady Hornets: Ella Leamer had 2 kills, 1 assist and 1 dig. Essie Hicks had 4 kills and 1 dig.
Gracie West had 3 kills and 1 dig. Haylee Coplen had 7 assists and 1 dig.
Izzie Montgomery had 3 kills. Jessie Reeter had 5 assists. Lucy Gaston had 1 ace, 1 kill and 2 digs.
MaKayla Vance had 2 digs and Maya Snyder had 1 kill and 1 dig.
In other Volleyball from the area, Mid Buchanan beat Trenton in the Class 2 District 1 semifinals 2-1. Mid-Buck then lost the district championship to East Buchanan 2-1.
In Class 3, Maryville won district 16 to improve to 26-7-1. They will face Odessa with a 30-0-3 record. They beat St Pius 2-1 for the district 15 championship.
