Trenton Police Arrest Four On Theft/Burglary Charges

A stop of two people for suspicious activity led to four arrests by the Trenton Police Department.  Early Monday morning, officers stop two individuals, who were detained on suspicion of theft and burglary.  Based on interviews and evidence, two others were later taken into custody and a search warrant was served at a northern residence in Trenton.

The results of the search warrant included the recovery of numerous pieces of stolen property that helped solve several crimes both in Trenton and rural Grundy County.

It also resulted in charges of alleged Burglary, Stealing-Motor Vehicle, and Stealing-$750.00 or More were filed against Jonathan Leroy Davis of Trenton, Brandon Tyler May of Coffey, Connie Lyn McCollum of LaClede, and Christy Lynn Russell of Trenton.

Trenton Police Chief Rex Ross says there are additional charges pending after the review of additional information gathered during the investigation.
