The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball team were honored in their post-season awards banquet. The Lady Hornets went 9-11 on the season and 4-3 in MEC play to finish in 4th place.
Named All District First Team were Abby Jones – Infield, Sophia Luetticke – Outfield, Jordan Hibner – Utility. Second team were Halle Rucker – pitcher, Kiley Kirkpatrick – infielder, Kennedy Corzette – outfield and Mika Hibner – catcher.
Named All Region were Sophia Luetticke 1st team outfielder and Abby Jones 2nd team infield.
Awards presented at the banquet were: Grass Stain Award to Kiley Kirkpatrick, Most Improved to Brooke Horton, Defensive Player of the Year Kennedy Corzette, Dynamic Duo to Jordan Hibner and Abby Jones, Offensive Player of the Year to Sophia Luetticke, 10 man award to Montana Plattner, Coaches Award to Mika Hibner, Montana Hall and Lexi Walker and Rookie of the Year to Hope Helton.
