Driver Had Serious Injuries In Single Vehicle Accident

A single-vehicle accident in Chariton County Friday night left the driver and passenger with serious and moderate injuries.  The highway patrol reports the single-vehicle accident happened about 11:30 pm on Highway 24, east of Salisbury.  According to the report, 35-year old Brandon Vanbidder of Moberly was driving the car eastbound and ran off the road and the car overturned and Vanbidder was ejected.

Vanbidder had serious injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Hospital and later flown to University Hospital in Columbia.

22-year-old Jassi Chambers of Iberia, MO was a passenger in the car and had moderate injuries and was treated at University Hospital in Columbia.
