Board Discusses New District Office & Central School Sale

The Chillicothe R-II School Board had discussions on two district buildings at Tuesday’s meeting.

First was the new District office and the progress made so far.  Superintendent Dan Wiebers says they are still in the early stages.

Wiebers reminds us that the new District Office will be built using Insurance funds and the only cost to the district is the $1,000 deductible.

The Board also had an update on the status of Central School, which was sold in a sealed bid process a couple of months ago.

Mr Wiebers says he will have an announcement once the sale of Central School is finalized, which he hoped to do at Tuesday’s meeting.
