Donate Your Old Winter Coat To Keep Another Warm

As the cold weather season is upon us, the need for a good winter coat is easy to see.  If you just got a new winter coat or have outgrown the old one, you can put that older, but still good, coat to use for someone else… someone that doesn’t have a winter coat.  55 & Go, Livingston County’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program is accepting donations to the “I Will Donate A Good Winter Coat” program.

55 & Go Director Patty Mefford says “I Will Donate A Good Winter Coat” allows area residents to help others with a coat to stay warm in the cold winter months.

Coats of all sizes are needed.  Coats for boys, girls, men, and women.  Please make sure the coat is clean and in good condition.

Last year, 55 & Go gave out 118 coats to those in need.
