In an effort to make sure children in Livingston county will receive some type of toy for Christmas, the Joy Toy Projects has provided toys for families in need during the Christmas season.  The Joy Toy Project started in 1985 and through the donations and efforts of volunteers, they have been successful.   55 & G0 Director Patty Mefford says postcards were mailed to the families that visited the Joy Toy Project last year.  The Parents/Grandparents must call 646-0010 or come by 440 Locust St. to get an appointment time to “shop” at Joy Toys.  If you did not receive a postcard, you are welcome to make an appointment.

The Joy toy distribution lasts only a few days in the first week of December.  Mefford urges those in need to make their appointment soon.

The number to call again is 660-646-0010.
