The 2019 Chillicothe Holiday Parade is Saturday morning. The Parade begins at 10:00 am at Washington and Calhoun and will go south through the downtown area to Third Street. The parade then heads east on Third to Locust and north on Locust to Calhoun. Chamber of Commerce Director Crystal Narr says they are excited about this year’s theme and Grand Marshal.
Donations for the Joy Toy Program will be accepted Saturday morning during the parade. They can be dropped at the Chamber office or at the 55 & Go office.
This year’s parade consists of 70 entries, which is fairly consistent with previous years. Narr says there will be 9 bands this year.
Narr says the parade will conclude with a visit from the Jolly Elf himself.
Everyone is invited to dress warm and come out to enjoy the 2019 Chillicothe Holiday Parade.
