State Troopers report one injury accident in the area counties Monday. At about 8:50 am in Linn County, a two-vehicle accident happened on Highway 5 in Linneus, at Columbia Street. According to the report, 87-year-old Wanda L Hoskins of Linneus was backing from a driveway and pulled into the path of a dump truck driven by 36-year-old Jesse Bowerman of Linneus and was struck on the driver’s side. Hoskins was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries.
