Several Arrests In The Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 82 calls for service Wednesday.  Those calls included

12:06 am, A traffic stop in the 1300 block of North Washington Street led to an arrest.  The driver was found to be in possession of controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, paraphernalia, a weapon violation, no insurance, failure to register a vehicle, no driver’s license and no seat belt… The person was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

8:46 am, Officers out in the 800 block of Industrial Road to attempt serving a warrant for violation of Bond Conditions.  The person was arrested and transferred to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

9:14 am, Officer out on Public Relations detail in the 400 block of N. Washington Street.

11:38 am, Officers responded to the area of Smith and Williams Street regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with the individuals involved, which led to one person arrested for domestic assault.  They were processed and released with a summons.

1:57 pm, Officer out in the 200 block of W. Business 36 Highway on providing a Training detail.

2:17 pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop at Washington St, and Polk St. As a result of the investigation Officers arrested the driver for driving while suspended and an arrest on an active warrant.   The person with the warrant posted bond and the driver was released with a summons to appear in Court.

3:16 pm, Officers have begun an investigation of a reported sexual assault.  The investigation is continuing.

3:37 pm, Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 10 block of Third Street.  The vehicle had only run out of fuel.

4:23 pm, Officers began a juvenile investigation in the 1500 block of Third Street. The Livingston County Juvenile Officer was contacted and the juvenile was released to them and later transferred to a Juvenile Detention Facility.

5:08 pm, Report of residential burglary and theft was investigated in the 200 block of Second Street.

5:46 pm, Request from a resident in the 1500 block of Hickory Drive to speak with Officer in reference to harassment on Facebook.  Options were discussed and no report was made.

8:55 pm, Traffic stop at Mohawk and 190 Hwy. for expired registration….warning was given and a controlled substance was seized to be destroyed.

10:26 pm, Report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Polk Street.  Officers contacted parties involved and one party left the residence for the night.   No injuries and no arrests made.
