Chillicothe Police For Thursday

Chillicothe Police responded to 73 calls for service Thursday.  Some of those calls include:

At 2:45 a.m., Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person walking in the area of Cowgill St. and South St.  Officers were unable to locate anyone.

At 7:43 a.m., Officers were dispatched for a careless driver southbound on U.S. 65 Hwy. coming into Chillicothe.  Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 11:58 a.m., Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Webster St.  Officers discovered child abuse/neglect and removed children from the residence.  Suspects have been identified and charges are pending.  Officers were assisted by Livingston County Children’s Division.

At 1:29 p.m., Officers at the police department took a report involving a juvenile.  The investigation is on-going.

At 2:59 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible shots in the area of Edgewood Cemetery.  Officers discovered the shots were occurring outside of the City Limits.

At approximately 3:20 p.m., Officers at the Police Department took a report of sexual assault.  The investigation is on-going.

At 4:48 p.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St.  The investigation is on-going.

At 5:20 p.m., Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Dickinson Ave.  Officers arrested a 41-year-old male for domestic assault.  He was transported to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

At 11:04 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible shoplifting in the 1200 block of N. Washington St.  Officers discovered no crime had occurred.
