Brandsgaard set record in CHS Win

Chillicothe fought off a slow start but picked up a convincing Conference Basketball win at home over St Pius X 80-62. Chillicothe led by 31 points at one point in the Third Quarter.

Westley Brandsgaard led the way with 21 points including two treys to put him as the new all-time Hornet Boys career three point shooter, topping Mason Hayward’s old record of 124.
CJ Pfaff had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Mason Baxter and Bradley Riley each had 9 points, Hayden Simmer and Joseph Tullos both with 8 points. Kyle Young had three, Wyatt Brandsgaard had 2 and playing time for Griff Bonderer, Cayden Potter and Landon Winder.
Chillicothe won the Junior Varsity game 43-39. Cayden Potter had 12, Watt Brandsgaard with 11, Cameron Fleener with 7, Landon Winder with 6, Kyle Young with 5 and Seth Hansen with 2 points. Playing time credited to Gabe Hansen and Quentin Cranmer.
