The Gallatin Police Activity report released Monday includes an investigation for counterfeit money. The Police Chief reports they attempted a vehicle stop on the suspect who allegedly passed “Movie Money” in both Gallatin and Winston. The vehicle failed to stop and while fleeing from officers headed south on Highway 13 and east on Route M.
The vehicle came to a stop in Breckenridge, after the driver lost control on the snow and hit a utility pole. The driver ran but was arrested a block away by deputies, while the counterfeit suspect and another woman were arrested at the accident scene.
