Chillicothe Police Report Includes One Arrest

Chillicothe Police Department responded to 61 calls for service Wednesday.  There is one arrest in the report.

1:56 am, officers made a well-being check in the 10 block of Tenth Street.  The person was contacted and found to be OK.

6:06 am, Officers and Emergency Services out in the 300 block of Mansur Street on a report of an unresponsive subject.  The person had died from natural causes.  The body removed by the Coroner.

7:33 am, Officers were unable to locate a vehicle reported to be making bad passes and following too closely from south of town and headed northbound.

8:26 am, School Resource Officer out in the 900 block of Dickinson Street on a juvenile matter.

10:08 am, Officer spoke with someone on the phone in reference to a possible scam.

2:03 pm, Parking complaint in the 10 block of Asher Street. They moved the vehicle.

3:10 pm, Officer assisted the Children’s Division on an investigation in the 900 block of Woodward Street.

3:35 pm, Officers responded to 1000 Graves St. in reference to a shoplifting.   A 44-year-old Trenton woman was arrested, processed and released.

3:50 pm, Officers assisted the Sheriff’s Department at Hedrick Medical Center on a gunshot wound to a hand.  The injury had occurred in Mooresville.

4:39 pm, Complaint of a dog running loose and tearing up trash in 100 block of E. Jackson Street.  Officers contacted the owner and advised them of the complaint.  The owner was trying to catch the dog.

8:24pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services with traffic control for a residential fire in the 400 block of Collier Street.

11:50 pm, Commercial business alarm was sounding in the 400 block of S. Washington Street.  The building checked and found OK.
