Lieutenant Governor Kehoe Visits Chillicothe For Salute To Agriculture
Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe was in Chillicothe Friday for the Chillicothe FFA/Chamber of Commerce Salute To Agriculture. Kehoe says the main message he wanted to get across to the students and others is that there is a bright future in agriculture.
He says there are many keys to keeping the young people in agriculture and in the rural Missouri towns.
Another area that they need to work on is transportation infrastructure. When the Lieutenant Governor was last in Chillicothe it was to talk about the replacement of two bridges that will begin soon. He came out from under one of those bridges with a chunk of the roadway. He says he has that chunk sitting on his desk to remind him of the importance of completing those projects
