Chillicothe police arrested a woman on a Platte County warrant, following a traffic enforcement stop. The suspect’s warrant was for failure to appear on a traffic violation. She was taken to the Chillicothe police department, processed and released on bond.
Officers spoke with a woman who received a check in the mail from a person they met on social media. The resident was advised this was a scam and not to cash the check.
Officers arrested a male in the  600 block of St Louis Street on a Caldwell County warrant for failure to appear on a speeding charge. The accused posted a $200 cash bond and was released pending a future Caldwell County Court appearance. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Third Street on a report of stealing. Officers determined the incident was a civil property issue.
