A report of a fire in an alley summoned Chillicothe Fire Fighters to the location between Cherry and Walnut, near 1st Street. The call came in Thursday at 9:30 am and police were on the scene when the fire department arrived. They found a bathtub full of trash, smoking from being burned. Fifty gallons of water and a fire extinguisher were used to put out the remaining fire. The fire department was on the scene for about 30 minutes.
