A mobile home in Wheeling was damaged by fire this week. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports there was no-one home at the time of the fire.
Sheriff Steve Cox says a fire in a ditch on South State Street got out of control and started a trash fire on a deck next to a mobile home. Wheeling Fire Department was called and a neighbor with a tractor assisted by pushing a deck that was on fire away from the trailer.
The extent of the damage was not reported.
