Amidst all of the confusion of the COVID-19 virus, two people came to the Livingston County courthouse Monday to file for public office. The Livingston County Election Authority Sherry Parks says at about 2:20 pm, Steve Whiteside filed as a Republican for the Fairview Township Committeeman’s position and Mary Pat Whiteside filed as a Republican for the Fairview Township Committeewoman’s position.
Filing for the August primary election continues through the end of March. The filing MUST be done in person at the courthouse. If you have questions, call 646-8000, ext 3.
