Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

Seventy-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Friday.  Among the calls were:

5:25 am, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a medical call in the 800 block of Dickinson Street.  The home was locked and Officers had to force entry.  The person was transported to Hedrick Medical Center by ambulance to receive treatment.

5:25 pm, Officers responded to a business in the 500 block of W. Business 36 Highway for someone being very irate.  Officers contacted the individual who was yelling and alarming others.  Officers had been advised the person was armed with a knife.  That person was taken into custody.  While in the patrol car, his violent actions continued. The person was medically cleared to be incarcerated and was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

10:02 pm, Officer assisted Livingston County Sheriff’s Department with traffic control at a vehicle crash scene just west of Chillicothe on US 36 Highway.

11:19 pm, Report of a suspicious vehicle in a ditch by Gravesville Park.  Officer located the vehicle which was determined to be a nearby resident that had missed their driveway and got stuck.
