Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 68 calls for service Wednesday.  The calls included:

3:56 am, Call from a resident in the 1300 block of Calhoun Street of report strange occurrences at their home in the 400 block of Dickinson Street.  Officers checked the person’s home and were unable to locate anything unusual.  The officer determined the person may have reacted to not receiving proper medication.

8:54am, Officers took a report of Identity Theft by illegal use of the person’s Social Security Number to gain a refund from Internal Revenue.  The report was taken and will be forwarded to Social Security and Internal Revenue.  Citizens are reminded that there are numerous scams going on at this time of year in reference to refund checks and to guard your personal information closely.

10:02 am, Officers out on Herriford Street in reference to residents possessing dogs that were of a prohibited breed.  The owner is attempting to relocate animals outside of City.

10:44 am, Officer took a property damage report from the 200 block of Henry Street where a vehicle was driven off the roadway and struck a chain-link fence causing damage to fencing and poles, then left the scene.

7:00 pm, Officers checked a report of a toddler running down the street in the 300 block of JF Kennedy Avenue.  The parent reportedly grabbed the child and took them into the home.
