Current Chillicothe Budget Amended To Actual Figures

The Chillicothe City Council met Monday with several of the department heads and the media present.  The meeting was held via teleconference.

The council approved the amendments to the 2019/2020 to actual figures.  The additional expenditures that were not in the original budget totaled 1.376 million dollars.

In the Permanent Street Fund, the increase was $575,000.  City Administrator Darin Chappell explained the increase.

The North Central Missouri Railroad expenditures increased $250,000.  That was for the railroad ties that needed to be replaced to allow for the storage of rail cars on the city-owned rail line.

For the Fire Department Sales Tax Fund, the increase was explained by City Auditor Hannah Fletcher.

Lesser increases include amounts from $3,000 to $54,000.
