Today, April 30th, is National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day! This day was created as a way to raise awareness for thousands of pets who are waiting for (and needing) adoption from shelters, including at the Chillicothe Animal Shelter.
Check out their website at www.chillicotheanimalshelter.org to view the animals currently available for adoption, and submit an application today! You could help to find a forever home for the animals this week. Shelter Director Leslie Patek says they have several to select from.
