The Livingston County Library remains closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but Library officials will be meeting soon to consider plans to re-open. Library Director Candy Warren says this Sunday the board will meet using an online program and will discuss and consider the plans and guidelines provided by the state of Missouri. Warren says on Monday, they will have an announcement about when and how the Livingston County Library will re-open.
Warren also talked about the new Children’s Library. She says work continues on the building. They are completing the exterior work and are still working on the interior. Furnishing, flooring and other materials are arriving, although there have been some supply delays. The target remains sometime in June for the completion of the new Children’s Library.
